Eligible visa gift cards can be purchased from any Wachovia bank location or line through their website. Gift cards are available in amounts ranging from $25 to $600. Cards can be used anywhere that accepts Visa, and card holders can take advantage of special Visa Online discounts using the prepaid card. With a low one-time fee of $3.95, the gift card makes a great gift, especially because your purchase will help provide toys to children in need.

Wachovia will be donating $1 for every gift card sold through December 31, 2009, up to a maximum of $250,000. Toys for Tots, which has been in business for 62 years, is thankful for the donation.

This year especially with high unemployment rates, the vice president of marketing, Bill Green, reports that toys for tots is receiving an unprecedented number of requests for toys. The donations will help provide toys to children who might otherwise receive no Christmas gifts, instilling a sense of hope and assuring needy children that the holiday season has not passed them by.
