Denny’s (NASDAQ:DENN) today announced that they expect sales of the Denny’s prepaid gift card to double (as compared to last year’s sales) as customers try to purchase gifts that are both affordable and practical.

Denny’s is the largest full-service family restaurant chain in America, with more than 1,500 locations. The restaurant chain is promoting sales of the Denny’s gift card by offering a free gift card valued at $5 with every $25 gift card purchased at Denny’s.

Denny’s CEO, Nelson Marchioli, explains the increase in sales of their gift cards, stating:
