Reloadable Debit Card

A reloadable debit card is a prepaid debit card that can be reloaded with value after it is issued.

Reloadable debit cards are typically network branded reloadable cards issued by a bank that allow you to reload funds onto the card. Gift cards are often not reloadable debit cards, instead, they are single load cards that have no value after the initial value load is used. A reloadable debit card may often be used as a bank account replacement, allowing value to be loaded using direct deposit, ACH bank transfer, wire transfer, card-to-card funds transfer, credit card transfer and the ever popular Green Dot MoneyPak to mention a few.
